Who helps at the Center?

 Staff is comprised mainly of caring community

 volunteers, including King's College, Wilkes

 University, College Misericordia, Penn State,

 L.C.C.C. and local high schools and organization

 volunteers. The center receives on-sight support

 from many local social service agencies.  Strong

 support from Wilkes-Barre Housing Authority,

 generous donations from private and corporate

 sources, and community donations help keep

 us alive.

About the McGlynn Center

 

The McGlynn Center is a family enrichment center located in the Boulevard Townhomes.

.

Operated by the Sisters of Mercy PROJECT REMAIN since 1988, the Center provides numerous educational, recreational and social outreach programs and services for hundreds of children and families.

Who can go there?

Emphasis is placed on school-aged children but programs are available for every member of the family for Boulevard Townhomes residents from toddlers to

parents and senior citizens.
